Use the Referrals tab in Settings to invite other merchants and track bonus-chat rewards from completed installs.

How the referral program works

The Garrio referral program rewards you with bonus chats, not percentage discounts. When you send an invitation and the recipient installs Garrio, you receive 10 bonus chats added to your account.

Bonus chats are consumed after your monthly plan limit. For example, if you're on the Starter plan with 200 AI interactions included and you have 20 bonus chats, you can handle up to 220 interactions before hitting overage charges.

There's no limit to how many merchants you can refer. Bonus credits roll over month to month and never expire.

Referral statuses explained

Pending

The invitation has been sent but the recipient hasn't installed Garrio yet. Pending referrals expire after 30 days if the store doesn't complete installation.

Completed

The referred store installed Garrio and you received 10 bonus chats. Credits are added immediately when the store completes onboarding.

Expired

The invitation wasn't used within 30 days. You can send a new invitation to the same email address if you want to try again.

Cancelled

The referred store uninstalled Garrio before completing their setup. No credits were awarded for cancelled referrals.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know when someone installs Garrio?

Your referral history updates automatically. When a referred store completes installation, the status changes to "Completed" and credits are added to your account. You'll also receive an email notification.

Can I send multiple invitations to the same email?

Yes, but only if the previous invitation expired or was cancelled. You cannot have multiple pending invitations for the same email address.

Do bonus chats expire?

No, bonus chats never expire. They roll over month to month and remain in your account until used. They're consumed after your monthly plan limit.

What happens if a referred store uninstalls Garrio?

If they uninstall before completing setup, the referral is marked as cancelled and no credits are awarded. If they uninstall after you've already received credits, those credits remain in your account.
