Ready to set this up for your store?
Install Garrio on ShopifyGarrio installs the Knowledge Base as a Shopify theme app block, so you can place it on a page without editing theme code. That makes it easy to add to the page where shoppers are most likely to look for help.
When you click "Open Theme Editor", Garrio generates a direct link to the Theme Editor with the Knowledge Base block ready to add. After you save your theme, the "Check Status" button confirms that Shopify can see the block in your live theme.
Once detected, the "Complete Installation" button becomes enabled. Clicking it marks the setup as complete in your store and returns you to Knowledge, where you can manage your answer library and setup state.
FAQ Page
Most merchants add the Knowledge Base to a dedicated FAQ or Help page. This creates a centralized location for all customer questions and makes it easy to link from your navigation menu.
Product Pages
You can also add the block to product page templates to show product-specific FAQs. The AI automatically filters entries based on the current product context.
Multiple Locations
The block can be added to multiple pages. Each instance shares the same FAQ database but can be styled independently using the Theme Editor.
